New Year's celebration and reception
The 2011 New Year's celebration and reception was held at the Consul General's Official Residence on January 21st. Many members of Portland's Japanese-American community, Japan-related businesses and the Japan-America Society of Oregon were on hand to enjoy delicacies of the Japanese new year, such as Osechi-ryori and Ozoni, while deepening the ties of friendship among Japanse related organizations.
