Spring 2021 Decoration Conferred on Ms. Doris Hrubant (Sahomi Tachibana)

Consul-General Masaki Shiga visited West Hills Village Senior Residence, Portland on December 14th and presented the decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays to Ms. Doris Hrubant (Sahomi Tachibana). Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the conferment ceremony was held with a limited number of her family members and students.

This decoration is for her outstanding contribution towards the promotion of Japanese arts and friendly relations between Japan and the United States.
