Japan's total export value to Oregon was about $2.1 billion while Oregon's export value to Japan was $1.5 billion in 2021. In the same year, the value of Japan's export to and import from Idaho amounted to about $263 million and $209 million respectively. There are more than 150 Japanese companies operating in this region.

Our Activities

Working closely with Japanese business people, the Japanese Business Association of Portland, and other related organizations, we are in contact with executives and agencies of the state government, major cities, etc., to exchange views on solving various problems faced by Japanese companies and improving the business environment.
